1.课程定位和设计思路

1.1课程定位

该课程为三年制国际商务英语(以下简称商英)专业的必修课,适用于该专业各年级学生。学生在学习该课程之前应先完成初中英语的学习,具备500个单词以上的词汇量, 有一定的英语阅读能力和书面表达能力基础。

1.2设计思路

ESL Beginner》是商英使用的教材之一,此教材主要由英语国家的专业教育人士编写,它专为非英语国家的学习者编写,内容包括听、说、读、写四种技能,同时进行语音训练和词汇扩展,尤其强调听与说技能的培养。它的首要目标是培养英语交际能力,即:根据交际情景,交际目的和交流对象灵活运用英语的能力。

特色:

1、国际化内容。话题富有时代感,与教师和学生的生活都密切相关。

2、注重应用型技能和认知型技能的培养。应用型技能通过会话和写作练习来训练,认知型技能则通过听力和阅读练习来训练。

3、教师和学生的任务。教师的任务是讲解新的学习要点。在做两人对话、小组活动和角色扮演的时候,教师的作用是辅助性的,主要帮助学生为活动做准备,然后运用所掌握的语言资源完成活动。

2.工作任务和课程目标

2.1 工作任务

注重多种技能综合培养。将话题、交际功能和语法紧密结合,教学遵循循序渐进的原则,逐级提高。

学习活动实用有趣。大量的"信息差异"练习,角色扮演练习,以及两人对话、小组活动和班级活动,不仅使课堂的节奏得到调整,也使每个学生都有更多的与同学交流的机会。

2.2 课程目标

针对没有英语基础的初学者,讲解基础语法结构、词汇和语言功能。学完本级后,可掌握1000个活用型词汇。

2.2.1能力目标

习得英语的基础词汇、语法结构和语言功能,能够用英语书写日常生活中常见物品和简短的常遇情景。

初步具备听说能力。能进行简单的自我介绍,会与陌生人相互问候,描述自己的住所、 家庭以及业余爱好,会询问对方的一些基本信息等。

2.2.2知识目标

能描绘工作和学习,会讨价还价,表达观点及喜好,能谈论家庭及家庭成员,询问并给出建议,会制定、谈论计划等。

2.2.3素质目标

养成良好的语言习惯,提升个人语言风格,塑造全新的个人形象,并且帮助后面的雅思考试打基础。
